035. Following the final battle, Harry got the sign of the Deathly Hallows tattooed over his heart (over the scar left from the locket). The lines that made up the elder wand and the resurrection stone were solid, but the triangle for the invisibility cloak was made up of the names of those he’d lost because of Voldemort: his parents, Sirius, Remus, Dumbledore, Fred, Tonks, Dobby and Mad-Eye.
034. On the eve of her wedding to Scorpius, Rose had a conversation with his mother Astoria. Her almost mother-in-law told her the same thing that Malfoy mother’s had said for generations, “Malfoy’s have one child. A son.” To which Rose replied, “Weasley’s have more than one and we don’t care if they are male or female.” Any worry she had eased with Astoria’s response, “I’ve always wanted a little girl.” Rose promised her at least one. A promise that she fulfilled 4 times over and her and Scorpius’s fifth child was a little boy.
033. During the year that Hermione was at Hogwarts and Ron was in Auror training, all of their letters arrived by night. Thus avoiding the risk of someone else reading the letter over the shoulder. As well as making sure the other was the last thing on their mind before going to sleep every night.
032. A few months after they married, Ron and Hermione had a huge fight and both apparated to get away from each other, only to both end up at the Burrow. Mrs. Weasley forced them both to sit down and eat the sandwiches she prepared then left them to work out their differences. The next morning, Mrs. Weasley found a bouquet of flowers and a thank you card when she came downstairs.
031. After the war and Fred’s death, Mrs. Weasley ran herself ragged trying to keep herself busy so she wouldn’t dwell on her missing son. Everything changed a few days after they returned to the Burrow and she couldn’t fight sleep anymore. Fred appeared to her in a dream with Harry’s parents by his side. He told her that he was ok and the Potters promised to take care of him and love him like she had loved Harry for them. She woke up well rested and relaxed. Everyone found the sudden change strange, but no one more than Harry, who came down for breakfast and received a bone crushing hug from Mrs. Weasley.
029. Because they were married so young, Ron and Hermione constantly got questioned about when they were going to start a family while at family functions. When they told everyone they were waiting and they asked why, Ron always told them that after growing up in a family of seven kids, he wasn’t ready to share Hermione with anyone else just yet.
028. Ron and Hermione got married the summer after she graduated from Hogwarts because they were in love and didn’t see a reason to waste anymore years before starting their “happily ever after.”
027. Hermione loves it when Ron teaches her things. Especially things that are “common” in a wizard household, but completely foreign to her muggle upbringing and knowledge learned from books. She knows there are books that can teach her all these things (Ron’s mom actually gave her one), but there is a mutual enjoyment when Ron teaches her and it brings them closer together.
026. Ron and Hermione had a small, intimate wedding attended by their families and closest friends. They then had three separate receptions: one thrown by Hermione’s parents for their friends, one thrown by Ron’s parents for their friends and a surprise bash thrown for them by Harry and Ginny for all their other friends.
024. When Bill found out that Victoire had a boyfriend, he was less than thrilled. After finding out that said boyfriend with Teddy, he was torn. Teddy had become part of the family and Bill knew he was a good, respectable young man. So while he wasn’t happy that his little girl was dating, he was happy that she had found a guy that would treat her well. It didn’t hurt that Teddy had five “Uncle Weasleys” and his godfather to help keep him in line.
023. It was Ginny who suggested to Harry that they name their children after James, Lily, Sirious, Dumbledor and Snape. She told him it would be their way of saying thanks to the people who had protected Harry so he could grow up and have his own family. They chose Lily’s middle name because she was born on the night of a full moon and the name Luna could relate to their friend who have never stopped believing in Harry and for Lupin.
022. Harry and Ron remained good friends with Neville, Dean and Seamus after the war and made an effort to get together at least once a year. Their reunions started out as visits to Hogsmeade and the Three Broomsticks with just the five of them in attendance. But as they married and had kids, their reunions became more family friendly events.
021. After marrying Harry, Ginny had assumed they would live in number 12 Grimmwauld Place, where he had been living since repairing it after the war. He surprised her, however, by saying he’d rather buy a house near Ottery St. Catchpole and let Grimmwauld place be a vacation home for them, their family and friends. When she reminded him that being near The Burrow would encourage surprise visits from her family, especially her brothers, he shrugged and told her he was good at repelling spells.
